Typography project

Our assignment was to create a type and a type name for a purpose. My purpose was for a furniture store and I named my type Restoration.

I normally try to use a different media as often as possible and i try to use the ones that i have little experience with(yet) the most. This was one of my first attempts with pastel, and it is on regular paper. I found that i could not properly build up layers. Their is some colored pencil in this.

Radial Mask

For this project we were asked to create three masks that showed different examples of ballance. These three examples needed to be radial, symetrical, and asymetrical. This mask shows radial ballance. this mask was to be done in graphite and needed to show a sence of form.

Symetrical Mask

This mask shows symetrical ballance. This mask was to be done in colored pencile and had to show a sence of form.

Asymetrical Mask

This mask shows Asyemtrical Ballance. This was to be done in colored pencil and not show a sence of form.
